Gorillaz: Unplug the Dams

Phew. This one took me like two days. I have to say though, I quite like how it turned out. I was inspired whilst walking to class when "Stop the Dams" (of D-sides I believe?) came on my Pandora station. (It was either my Gorillaz one or my Arctic Monkeys one I don't remember). ANYWAYS. I was like: "Wow. This is a hella deep song." At least I interpreted it as such. Could just be overanalyztion, since Damon has been known to gain HIS inspiration from various illicit substances heh. 

Point is, this is a drawing of 2D's head all cracked open by creativity. You'll notice (hopefully) that his lovely mates are hanging out in the fissured skull as well. Probably doing something cool by the looks of Murdoc's shiny new firearm. I got the idea of his head sillouette from the "Do ya Thing" video, so that's kinda neat. Those colors are supposed to look "Northern Light-y" But frankly I think they turned out a tad shitty, in comparison to the rest of the picture. 

What else... I used Paint tool Sai for this. And I was consuming some jolly ranchers as well. Love that shit.
